The Program enjoys wide recognition, both nationally, receiving the maximum concept from CAPES (initially A and later grade seven) since its creation in 1970, and international recognition, having already graduated 352 masters and 282 doctors until December 2017. A survey A recent study showed that approximately 70% of graduated doctors are in public teaching or research institutions, 8% in private institutions, 12% in post-doctoral training and only 10% have left academic life. Many of these former students now occupy a prominent position in the scenario of teaching and research in Pharmacology in Brazil.
