The Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PPG-BqBM) at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH) at the University of São Paulo (USP) aims at training highly qualified human resources capable of teaching, guiding students, propose and develop scientific projects in the area of ​​Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, which require molecular and cellular approaches, respecting ethical guidelines aimed at good scientific practices and the insertion of EACH in the national and international scenario of scientific research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The course must provide solid theoretical training in techniques and methodologies of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, opening possibilities for the student who graduated from the Master's or Doctorate course to carry out teaching and research activities in public or private, national or international institutions, in related areas. Research lines: – Biochemistry in pathological states – Biotechnology
