The undergraduate course in History seeks to train professionals with the capacity to meet the demands of teaching and research, preparing them as producers of specialized knowledge, providing them with the varied epistemological and theoretical instruments of the field.

There is no hierarchy in the process of training professors/researchers, and all graduates must master the elements necessary to understand the nature of historical knowledge and master the essential practices of its production. The most recent expansion of the historian's areas of activity corresponds to another, related to the languages ​​whose handling by professionals trained in History has become current.
