The course, from the Department of Public Relations, Advertising and Tourism (CRP), seeks to train professionals who work in the planning, organization and implementation of tourism development actions, based on an understanding of tourism both as a social phenomenon and as an economic activity. 

The student's education is based on scientific research as a stimulus to reflect on reality, and on offering opportunities for professional experience in different contexts. It seeks, therefore, to develop in the student skills that allow him to manage tourist activity in the public and private spheres, making him capable of elaborating norms and guidelines for an organized development that equitably benefits the various publics involved, in addition to proposing, implementing or restructuring tourism products in a differentiated and sustainable way.
