The goal of the Bachelor of International Relations is to form versatile individuals, with mastery of the historical, economic, political and legal fundamentals necessary to understand international phenomena and with the intellectual flexibility to explore a wide range of professional opportunities.

This conception is in tune with the broad spectrum of professional possibilities open to internationalists. They include high positions in companies inserted in international circuits; in non-governmental organizations; in the media; in the public sector, especially in the diplomatic service, and in teaching and research at universities and higher education institutions.

By  Ordinance EEC No. 409/2006, dated 10.09.2006, published in the DOE on 10.11.2006, the State Board of Education recognized the undergraduate course in International Relations at the University of São Paulo. The last renewal of recognition was granted by the State Board of Education by CEE/GP Ordinance No. 421, of 10.09.2019, published in the Official State Gazette of 10.10.2019.
