The professional will have a solid basic education in the fundamentals of engineering combined with a strong background in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on energy and automation systems, leading to a wide range of professional assignments. It will work with energy systems, from the generation of electrical energy from various sources - such as hydraulic, thermal, wind, solar - to its final use. Graduates will be able to work in the entire industrial park, including electro-electronic and electro-mechanical industries, manufacturers of electro-mechanical, electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic industrial automation equipment. You may also work autonomously in the design, inspection and construction of electrical installations, or actively participate in preliminary studies, design, construction, inspection, testing and operation of hydroelectric power plants, thermoelectric and other energy sources. He will work widely in electric energy service concessionaires: in operation, protection, maintenance, technical purchases, administration and energy sales. Finally, you can dedicate yourself to an academic career at universities and research institutes.
