To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XXVII) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the Ph.D. in translation, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XXVII) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a master's degree in translation or an equivalent diploma in a related discipline or hold an undergraduate degree in translation (BA, bachelor's degree with major or equivalent), have completed the minimum education of the master's program
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle
