Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible for the Ph.D. program (educational sciences

- measurement and evaluation in education), the candidate must:

meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
hold a degree equivalent to a master's degree from the University of Montreal or attest to training deemed equivalent by the dean, on the recommendation of the department director;
in exceptional cases, hold a baccalaureate degree and, on the recommendation of the department chair, be authorized to enroll in a special doctoral program;
have obtained in the 2nd cycle a cumulative average of at least 3.5 out of 4.3 or the equivalent approved by the dean of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the French and English languages, as well as any other language, when this is essential to the program in which they wish to enroll; the candidate may be asked to take a knowledge test of this language;
present the outline of a research project;
accept that a professor serves as his research director and guides him in the choice of his courses and in his research work.
