General eligibility conditions

To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

  • Higher Technology School: 3.0/4.3
  • HEC Montreal: 3.0/4.3
  • McGill University: 3.0/4.0
  • Polytechnique Montréal: 2.75/4.0

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the MSc in neuroscience, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Dental Medicine (DMD) or Veterinary Medicine (DMV) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in an appropriate discipline, or a diploma deemed equivalent
  • have obtained, in the 1st cycle, an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent
  • demonstrate good knowledge of the French and English languages.
