To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Degree accepted: Masters, Masters; duration: 2 years

Minimum average:

  • Bishop: 80%
  • Concordia University: 3.3/4.3
  • Higher Technology School: 3.3/4.3
  • HEC Montreal: 3.3/4.3
  • McGill University: 3.0/4.0
  • Polytechnique Montréal: 3.0/4.0
  • University of Sherbrooke: 3.3/4.3
  • Laval University: 3.3/4.3
  • Universities of Quebec: 3.3/4.3
Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular LL student. D, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold the LL. M from the University of Montreal or a diploma deemed equivalent
  • have obtained in the 2nd cycle, a cumulative average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent
The student must have sufficient knowledge of the French and English languages.
