General eligibility conditions

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or another undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Minimum average:

• Bishop: 75%
• Concordia University: 3.0/4.3
• Higher Technology School: 3.0/4.3
• HEC Montreal: 3.0/4.3
• McGill University: 3.0/4.0
• Polytechnique Montréal: 2.75/4.0
• University of Sherbrooke: 3.0/4.3
• Laval University: 3.0/4.3
• Universities of Quebec: 3.2/4.3

To be eligible as a regular student in the MA (Educational Sciences) program, the candidate must:

• meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
• hold an undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Education Sciences, or another undergraduate degree that adequately prepares for the studies they wish to undertake, or provide evidence of training deemed equivalent
• have obtained an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 1st cycle;
• demonstrate good knowledge of the English and French languages.
