The master's program in physical activity sciences aims to acquire advanced training in physical activity sciences and initiation to research in movement analysis and biomechanics, neuroscience of movement and physical activity, exercise physiology or promotion of physical activity and sports psychology. During your course, you will be trained in carrying out and managing all stages of a research project, from its design to the communication of results. In particular, you will need to acquire the knowledge and skills specific to your field through the available literature and master the appropriate data collection and analysis tools. You will be introduced to respecting ethical standards and integrity in research. During your journey, you will be exposed to different career paths.

In a context where physical activity is increasingly emphasized in our aging and sedentary society, it is necessary to train highly qualified personnel with expertise in:

  • Evaluation of the mechanisms involved in the beneficial effects of physical activity in order to support clinical, academic or social interventions
  • The development of new intervention methods, particularly for symptomatic and athletic populations
  • Technological innovations
  • Evaluation of the implementation of technological interventions and innovations
