To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Degree accepted: Masters, Masters; duration: 2 years

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular Ph.D. (practical theology) student, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XX) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold an MA (practical theology) from the Faculty or demonstrate training considered equivalent
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle
  • demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the French and English languages, as well as any other language, ancient or modern, deemed necessary for the pursuit of their research.
