The Master's Degree in Information Design and Digital Communication is a postgraduate degree from the University Center of Art, Architecture and Design of the University of Guadalajara aimed at researching and generating knowledge that contributes to the understanding of the challenges posed by the new paradigms of communication, with emphasis in information design, data visualization, information architecture and interface design, as well as its link with behavioral sciences and its relationship with technological solutions inherent to a digital society and economy. This curriculum recognizes the importance of innovation in virtual environments, cyberculture and the paradigms of hypermodernity, communication management, interactive design and emotional marketing.
This postgraduate program seeks to develop in teachers the necessary skills and competencies so that they can propose relevant communication strategies and solutions in the face of the diversity of applicability scenarios in the current environment or emerging situations. It has two lines of knowledge generation and application: Information Design and Digital Communication.

  • Copy of the bachelor's degree or original degree certificate and proof of completion of the social service of the bachelor's degrees in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication Sciences, Advertising, Digital Art and any career that is considered by the Academic Board to be considered .
  • Accredit a minimum average of eighty with an original certificate or document that is comparable to previous studies, as the case may be.
  • Submit proof of reading-comprehension of the English language, level B1 or equivalent, with an issue date of no more than 5 months.
  • Submit and pass the knowledge admission exam endorsed by the Academic Board.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from academics and researchers.
  • Submit a preliminary research project that is integrated into one of the lines of generation and application of knowledge of the master's degree.
  • Participate in an interview with the members of the Academic Board and professors of the basic academic core of the master's degree.
  • Submit a letter of explanation of academic, professional and personal reasons, to pursue the master's degree.
  • Those additional ones that the call establishes.
