The University of Guadalajara through the General University Council, the highest governing body of our House of Studies and the University Center for Health Sciences, aware of the role they play as trainers of professionals and researchers in public health in general and in health occupational, in particular; As well as being aware of the structural changes of the programs in accordance with international postgraduate education policies, they have adopted an educational development plan based on integrated professional competencies that favor innovation and inter- and intra-institutional collaborative work.
The integrated professional competencies that support the Curriculum of the Master's Degree in Health Sciences at Work are based around the substantive functions of research, education for the prevention and preservation of health, and training of human resources with humanistic and social values..
The program aims to develop skills for solving problems in the subject, introduce the student to the basic methodologies that allow them to understand their object of study (quantitative, qualitative and participation-action), and also aims to support their work under an axiological axis that respects the national and international laws on research.
