The Master's Degree in Human Development, Education and Interculturality seeks to contribute to the generation of knowledge and impact through transdisciplinarity and interculturality in group, family, community, educational, business, social and political environments.

Human development is understood beyond health aspects, access to education and standard of living: it is assumed that in interaction with the environment it promotes the use of capabilities and potential for personal, group, community and social improvement. In this sense, it is necessary to investigate and influence situations of violence, unemployment, risk and health protection behaviors, educational, cultural and environmental processes, conditions of poverty and marginalization, among other social problems.
The educational system, in the current context, is considered a priority for the construction of inclusive and fair societies. Education is conceived as a “humanizing action” for human development. In the search for this new process of human development, the promotion of intercultural dialogue is essential, since it contributes to political, social, cultural and economic integration, as well as the cohesion of historically and culturally diverse societies.

Given the social, cultural, educational, environmental, economic and political problems and changes at a local and global level, it requires that universities with social responsibility train human resources with a high ethical, human, methodological and investigative sense with a transdisciplinary approach. In this framework, the Master's Degree in Human Development, Education and Interculturality is related to graduates of health, social, humanities and other sciences, in the opinion of the academic board.

The Master's Degree in Human Development, Education and Interculturality is part of the National Postgraduate System (SNP) of the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (CONAHCYT), which gives students the possibility of having the National Scholarship for Studies Postgraduate.

Applicants who are accepted to the postgraduate program are not guaranteed access to a maintenance scholarship; the assignment will be subject to availability and the criteria established by CONAHCYT in the respective calls.
