Admission Requirements

  • Be a graduate of a master's degree in one of the following areas: interior design, industrial design, architecture, urban planning, animation, engineering - civil, systems, materials, environmental and other related areas - sociology, economics, marketers, public administration, law, biology and/or environmental sciences, or related sciences that demonstrate a link with the LGAC of the doctorate.
  • Accredit the command of a language other than the one of origin at level B1 of the European framework of reference for languages;
  • Have knowledge and experience in managing documentary information sources, databases and computer technologies and research skills;
  • Demonstrate in the Disciplinary Studies Seminar analytical and critical capacity to generate proposals that involve innovation and generation of knowledge, on topics linked to the LGAC of the postgraduate course.
  • Have a proactive attitude and knowledge to solve global and/or national and/or regional and/or local problems and needs in relation to innovation, habitat and sustainability, from their disciplinary field and prior knowledge.
  • Raise prior knowledge about the relevance, contribution and connection of your research topic with the LGAC of the doctorate through the presentation of your research protocol in the SED.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge in research linked to the LGAC of the Graduate Program through the publication of: essays, articles, monographs, books and/or participation in academic events.
  • That the student is qualified in an activity and/or a profession and/or research experience linked to the lines of the program, who has the capacity to adapt to new ideas (useful and/or practical and/or viable for insertion into productive chains and /or transformation chains for the solution of national and/or regional and/or local problems) and technological and innovation paradigms, with thinking focused on the user or problem to be solved in the immediate context.
  • That the student manifests values ​​consistent with the code of ethics of the University of Guadalajara.
