The master's degree in Finance for Sustainable Development seeks the training and specialization of graduates and professionals in the economic-administrative areas, including those with degrees in Public Accounting, in Financial Administration and Systems, in Administration, in Tourism, in Economics, and Engineers. in Processes and International Trade and other related educational programs.
Sustainability is an issue of greater importance worldwide, due to the impact it is having on development and competitiveness strategies, as well as on the dynamics of countries tending to seek the long-awaited sustainability standards. Sustainable finance considers social, ethical and environmental aspects in investment projects, promoting long-term profitability rates.
The Master's Degree in Finance for Sustainable Development responds to this challenge through the focus of its study plan designed to provide knowledge that promotes financial inclusion through:
  • The efficiency of development financial institutions whose main objective is to provide savings and credit products and services to individuals and entities that are excluded from the financial sector, and
  • Financial reengineering for the growth of the business sector, mainly micro, small and medium-sized businesses, in the Sierra de Amula and South Coast Regions of the State of Jalisco.
