The South University Center of the University of Guadalajara offers the Master's Degree in Business Administration, based on the objectives and essential functions under the framework of the study plan that contemplates training professional change managers and management skills that allow them to address social and economic changes and be highly competitive as business leaders.
The business leader must be able to create joint value with the community he serves, improving operation and production techniques, increasing efficiency, quality of the product or service, sustainability and consequently incremental profitability. The proposal to modify the curriculum contemplates these challenges in order to provide relevant training.
Porter and Kramer (2011) propose that companies can create value by reinventing products and markets, improving the quality of products or services in an existing market or by innovating to solve social needs. Tasks such as improving quality, quantity, cost and reliability, production processes and distribution systems can be achieved by considering them as a value chain through a responsible and value-added concatenation, which can lead companies and organizations to better results. competitiveness levels.
The Master's in Business Administration of the University Network, located in the southern area of ​​Jalisco in Cd. Guzmán, municipality of Zapotlán el Grande; contributes to the strategic objectives of the Institutional Development Plan with the training of high-level human resources through quality postgraduate studies, recognized by CONAHCYT in two of its headquarters and with the potential to be recognized in the others.
