Oral pathology and medicine is an area of ​​medical-dental specialization dedicated to clinical and histopathological diagnosis. This discipline is responsible for the study, diagnosis and therapeutic management of disorders that affect the oral mucosa, salivary glands, bone tissue and soft tissue of the oromaxillofacial area. These conditions include immune-based disorders, infections, malformations and/or neoplastic conditions, reagents, genetics among others.
 
The Master's program in Pathology and Oral Medicine is a flexible postgraduate curriculum, based on the credit system, it is articulated under the tutorial system, which promotes the generation of knowledge, skills and technological developments in the student, recognizing the link University-Society, national problems, health policies and perspectives for change, characterizes the social demands for the training of human resources in the disciplines of pathology and oral medicine and provides solutions to the problems of diagnosis, treatment of this group of the population at a local, regional and national level.   
The student who enters the Master's Degree in Pathology and Oral Medicine will study two years, the first cycle corresponds to the common core and during the second year the student will be able to choose a specialized area, either in oral pathology or oral medicine and thus obtain the degree Master in Pathology and Oral Medicine.

The documents must be apostilled and, if they are in a language other than Spanish, translated by an expert translator.
Likewise, a technical opinion must be requested from the Coordination of Medical/Dental Specialties.
