To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the M. Sc. A. (planning) design, creation and innovation option, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI of the Educational Regulations) for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a bachelor's degree in industrial design or a related discipline that adequately prepares them for the studies they want to undertake, or a diploma deemed equivalent
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 in undergraduate studies or the average required by the original university for admission to a graduate program, if this is higher high or equivalent.
