The doctoral program is aimed at those who have an excellent mastery of instrumental or electroacoustic composition techniques, have written several pieces and are moving towards the exercise of an artistic or teaching activity. As part of the program, you are encouraged to develop an original perspective on the creative gesture through the creation of large-scale works whose design is fully mastered from the point of view of language, style and form. At the same time, you contribute to aesthetic reflection by presenting your creative approach in a clear language, critically and coherently.

Perfecting a personal and individualized creative approach is based on mastery of the traditional tools of instrumental composition, where musical ideas are transcribed onto a score, and technological tools developed for different forms of digital music.

An important part of the program is devoted to the development of your compositional approach, under the direction of a member of the faculty, through the composition of concert music, music for the screen (cinema, video games, Web) and music of the stage (dance, theater).
