Become a specialist in private international law with in-depth knowledge not only of conflict rules, but also of the substantive law of other legal systems. This program also prepares you to meet the requirements of the Bar of other Canadian provinces (by obtaining the professional qualification certificate for students admitted before fall 2012) and of the American states.

The North American common law programs were structured around the training already acquired by Quebec jurists: civil law in private legal relationships, Anglo-Canadian common law in public legal relationships. It is by taking into account the globalization of trade, the economic integration of the Americas and the specific legal needs generated by these phenomena that the objectives of this training have been set.
