Biochemistry BA

Students in the 1st Cycle of Biochemistry taught at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitáro Lisboa will benefit from competent and experienced teaching staff, modern and functional infrastructures, particularly for laboratory training. They will also have the opportunity to get started in scientific research during the 1st Cycle as part of a Curricular Project Unit. This new Biochemistry programme embraces the challenge of training a new generation of biochemists who will be part of public institutions and companies. Students will also be encouraged during the course to become entrepreneurs in their field. To achieve this goal, CUL's Biochemistry programme relies on well-developed laboratory training and the immediate involvement of students in research activities. Collaboration with a successful Portuguese company in the field of biochemistry will make a decisive contribution to developing the real opportunities that exist in self-entrepreneurship in this area of knowledge.
