The Master's in Economics (ME) provides advanced training based on an applied perspective and oriented to the needs of the job market, allowing those who wish to start or consolidate a professional career to deepen their knowledge in the field of economic phenomena. The structure of the ME responds to students' requests for integration into the job market, providing employability, technical and scientific skills in areas relevant to the analysis and resolution of concrete problems in the Portuguese and Portuguese-speaking economies. In this framework, the ME, as the 2nd cycle of studies, also promotes the development of research activity, seeking to contribute to academic production on relevant topics, which strengthen the university's connection to the concrete needs of economies and encourage the transfer of knowledge.
