Data Science MSc

Data Science is a recent multidisciplinary scientific discipline that responds to the need to interpret the large volume of data (big-data) that technological advances have brought to society. The Master's Degree in Data Science from the Lusófona University of Lisbon is the natural complement for candidates who, having completed one of the degrees in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Management, Economic and Financial Sciences or similar, wish to extend their studies with the carrying out a 2nd cycle, with the aim of obtaining a higher level of specialization and access to higher professional hiring levels. This cycle provides an introduction to data sciences with a solid background in cutting-edge techniques for data analysis, data engineering and the necessary knowledge in fundamental privacy, security and ethics to process data in accordance with the laws that govern data.
