It is distinguished by its strong laboratory and engineering project component; for the extensive network of partnerships it has, involving more than two dozen public and private companies and organizations; for the attention it gives to the different specialist areas of environmental engineering, and for the possibility of working after work and enabling a distance learning component aimed at candidates residing in Portuguese-speaking countries. Following the highest international standards of postgraduate education in this field of engineering, the subjects included in its study plan are taught by teachers/researchers with recognized academic skills and extensive experience in high-level international R&D projects in the area. engineering and environmental sciences.
