the program offers a choice of general studies or zoology. Each is based on a
set of required courses plus several electives. UNB emphasizes on whole
organism biology and ecology. Students may tailor their BSc to their interests as
well as toward any entrance requirements for professional schools. At the end
of the program in general biology, student will be a trained biologist with a
background in botany, ecology, zoology and physiology.

*Mathematique 30411B is acceptable for admission. However UNB strongly recommends Mathematique 30331C as the preferred pre-requisite to Mathematique 30411C.
**Senior-year Mathematics, Chemistry and another approved science course are required for admission to this program. The average marks in senior Mathematics, Chemistry and the best other science course must be at least 75%. Students who present only Chemistry will be considered at the discretion of the Faculty.
