The 1-year Master of Forest Engineering (MFE) graduate program in the Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Management at UNB will expand on the knowledge and skills students acquired in previous university courses. Typically, MF students are largely self-funded, with some research assistance funding provided through the Faculty. Throughout the program, students will study forestry at an advanced level through approved course work and by completing and presenting a major research project on a topic they and their supervisors choose. Students have the opportunity to study in a number of areas that are important to the forestry industry including forest operations and management, bioenergy, and value added & engineered wood product manufacturing.
