The three-year full-time Juris Doctor (J.D.) program is opened to applicants who have completed a degree from a recognized Canadian university or an accredited non-Canadian university which is deemed acceptable by the UNB Faculty of Law. The program offers hands-on learning such as competitive mooting program, the in-house law journal, and judicial or public interest internships. Students will gain skills in critical thinking, problem solving, advocacy, collaboration/consensus building and research/writing. Number of students admitted in the first year is limited to 92.
