About the nature of the program:
The School of Nursing offers two bachelor's programs and one diploma program, the two bachelor's programs include 4 years for preliminary studies and a supplementary program for legal nurses with a nursing diploma, and the third program is the qualifying diploma.
1- Bachelor of Nursing Program A bachelor's degree in nursing is the first step to professionalism. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing and other leading nursing organizations consider a bachelor's degree as the lowest educational requirement for a nursing career. To obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing, a student must successfully complete 152 credit hours. 2- Bachelor Program in Post-Diploma Nursing This program enables a nurse with leadership skills, analytical ability, high commitment to the nursing profession and academic aptitude to obtain a bachelor's degree either full-time or part-time. The minimum requirement to complete this program is to complete 88 credit hours. 3- Diploma in Nursing The student must successfully complete a minimum of 96 credit hours.
Program-appropriate careers:
Graduates of various nursing programs can work full-time in government and private healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, health centers, and clinics

Tuition fees for science subjects are OMR 107 per Credit Hour ($280 per credit/hr and for art subjects are OMR 85 per Credit Hour ($220 per credit/hr). A minimum score of 65% in secondary level certification is required for undergraduate courses.
