About the nature of the B.Ed. in Art Education program:
This program aims to: • Prepare technical cadres capable of contributing to social and cultural development programs such as productive families, cultural palaces, clubs and museums, in addition to national festivals and events. • Study the Omani heritage and embody the Arab and human meanings carried by Arab and international cultural vocabulary. • Prepare researchers to conduct scientific research and participate in local, Arab and international conferences in the fields of arts. • Prepare educational researchers in the field of developing art education curricula at its various stages in the Sultanate of Oman. • Empower technical cadres to treat environmental problems through artistic works. • Prepare qualified technical cadres with the ability to design and implement advanced training programs for workers in various artistic fields. • Empower technical cadres to discover environmental materials that can contribute to developing the production of artistic works. • Prepare technical cadres capable of discovering artistically gifted students and developing advanced scientific plans and programs to care for them. • Study the approaches and theories related to the science of artistic appreciation and know modern artistic trends with all their variables, methods and philosophies. Qualifying graduates with a high level of knowledge and various skills in the field of art education and various visual arts.

Tuition fees for science subjects are OMR 107 per Credit Hour ($280 per credit/hr and for art subjects are OMR 85 per Credit Hour ($220 per credit/hr). A minimum score of 65% in secondary level certification is required for undergraduate courses.
