Admission requirements for the Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching Methods program:

1. Bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 out of 4.00 in education (in the specializations of Islamic education, Arabic language, social studies, or one of the science specializations: biology, chemistry, physics, or mathematics)

2. Bachelor's degree in arts with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 out of 4.00 in the specializations of Islamic studies, Arabic language, or social studies, or a bachelor's degree in one of the science specializations: biology, chemistry, physics, or mathematics) (provided that remedial (educational) courses are studied according to the conditions of the Ministry of Higher Education)

3. In all cases, the minimum GPA is (2.5) according to the grading scale of (4.0) or its equivalent.

4. In special cases, nominated students who have a cumulative GPA lower than the minimum (less than 2.5) may be accepted, provided that they enroll in remedial courses for a maximum of two semesters in the case of full-time study and that their performance is good (GPA 2.5 or higher).

Tuition fees for science subjects are OMR 107 per Credit Hour ($280 per credit/hr and for art subjects are OMR 85 per Credit Hour ($220 per credit/hr). A minimum score of 65% in secondary level certification is required for undergraduate courses.
