This course "Adult psychoanalytic psychopathology and contemporary issues" is one of the five courses of the Psychology mention: Psychoanalytical Clinical Psychopathology (PPCP) offered on the website of the Institute of Psychology. This master is co-accredited between the University of Paris and the Sorbonne Paris Nord University. It trains clinical psychologists able to respond to different forms of psychic suffering and to various contemporary clinical and psychopathological issues. The clinical psychologist will thus be able to provide care for people at different ages of life, in individual or group situations, multicultural, in various contexts (care institutions, education, private practice, etc.). The training falls within the field of human sciences and is based on epistemology and psychoanalytical methods. It allows the psychologist to take into account the conscious and unconscious dimensions of psychic life. It is also supported by several internships, promoting a constant articulation between theories, clinical practices and transmitted methods. The experience in different internship locations during the two years and its analysis in small groups constitute a major axis in the construction of the identity of the professional.


This master's degree in psychology: psychoanalytical clinical psychopathology takes place over 2 years, it gives access to the right to use the title of psychologist because of the quality of his theoretical training in psychopathology and his requirement of training through practical training, 800h internship over the two years of the master's degree.
