Read more have diplomatic missions accredited in Bishkek - the capital of our state. To meet the needs of the young republic for highly qualified specialists in the field of international relations, the Faculty of International Relations, the International Relations program, was launched in 1996. Before that diplomatic service personnel was trained in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Since then, the program has produced more than 2,000 graduates who work in the Kyrgyz Republic and countries of near and far abroad.
Program content The International Relations program offers students a scientific and professional education in bachelor's (4 years), and master's (2 years) degrees studies, which includes language training and various academic, comparative and applied programs that go beyond national and regional realities. During the first 2 years, students specialize in studying languages and current issues of world politics in the context of the humanities and social sciences, they also specialize in current areas of foreign policy, and also study general theoretical courses in the field of International Relations. In the next 2 years, students are offered a program that pays special attention to specific global problems and the disciplines of international relations, pointing out the interconnection of political, economic and cultural processes between states around the world.
The program offers the following specializations (profiles) for students starting from the 3rd year of studies to choose from: * Foreign policy; * Diplomatic and consular service; * Economic diplomacy; * Prevention of regional conflicts; * Global migration processes; * Global and national security; * Management of non-profit organizations, * China of the 21st century.
