KNU named after J.Balasagyn  is implementing fallowing directions of Masters 520200 "Biology":

Master’s degree students study biological systems of different levels of organization; processes of their vital activity and evolution; biological, bioengineering, nature protection technologies, biological expertise and monitoring, assessment and restoration of territorial bioresources. Masters in the direction 520200-"Biology" conduct research on the topics: "Application of cell and tissue culture methods for clonal propagation of rare and endangered species of natural vegetation of Kyrgyzstan", "Fauna and ecological features of animals and their ectoparasites of Kyrgyzstan", "Mechanisms of adaptation of organisms to extreme factors of high mountains", "Ecological bases of increasing bioproductivity of animals and plants in the conditions of Kyrgyzstan" and others.
