The areas of professional activity of graduates are education, socio-cultural, scientific and managerial spheres.
Master's degree in the direction of training 550700 "Pedagogy" studies such disciplines of the professional cycle: • Pedagogy of higher education • Planning, organisation of the experiment and processing of experimental data • Modern problems of science and education • Psychology of education • New educational technologies • Management in education • Inclusive culture in the educational environment • Methods of teaching disciplines in primary schools • Methods of teaching disciplines in higher education • Elective disciplines The objects of professional activity of graduates are educational process, educational environment, scientific-pedagogical activity, management in education. Types of professional activities of graduates are pedagogical, research, managerial and project activities.
Master's degree in the direction of training 550700 "Pedagogy" should be able to solve the following tasks: 1) in the field of pedagogy • studying the capabilities, needs and achievements of students in general education institutions and designing, on the basis of the results obtained, individual routes for their education, upbringing and development; • organisation of interaction with colleagues, parents, interaction with social partners, including foreign ones, search for new social partners; • utilising the existing possibilities of the educational environment and designing new conditions, including information ones, to ensure the quality of education; • professional self-education and personal growth, projecting further educational route and professional career;
2) in the field of research and development: • analysis, systematisation and generalisation of the results of scientific research in the field of education by applying a set of research methods in solving specific research problems; • designing and organising scientific research in the field of education using modern methods of science, • evaluation of the results of scientific research in the field of education using information and innovative technologies; • professional and personal self-education, designing further educational route and professional career, participation in experimental work; • in the field of management: • study of the state and potential of the managed system and its macro- and micro-environment by using a set of methods of strategic and operational analysis; research; • designing, organising and evaluating the implementation of the management process using innovative management technologies that correspond to the general and specific laws of development of the managed system; • utilisation of the available possibilities of the managed system environment and designing ways of its enrichment and development to ensure the quality of management; 3) in the field of project activities: • designing educational environments that ensure the quality of the educational process; • designing educational programmes and individual educational routes; • designing the content of new disciplines and elective courses for students, as well as forms and methods of control and various types of control and measurement materials, including those based on information technologies.
The duration of Mastering of higher professional education in the direction 550700 "Pedagogy" on a full-time basis is 2 years, and on a part-time basis - 2 years 6 months.
