- training of qualified specialists capable of developing algorithms and software products of applied importance at the modern level, applying the basics of information technology and programming methods to the design, construction, testing, implementation and maintenance of software products with competencies that contribute to its social mobility and functional stability in the labor market.. As well as the formation of students' social and personal qualities: determination to positive changes, self-organization, hard work, taking responsibility, communication skills, tolerance, improvement of general.
A student who is getting Master’s degree in Software engineering is trained "Software development Technology" program.
The field of professional activity of graduates is the research, development, and implementation of innovative information systems and technologies for various IT companies, as well as IT departments of enterprises in various industries and communication, as well as enterprises of various profiles operating in the information society economy, as well as participation in expert evaluation of the selected IT option and ways of its implementation.

The Master's degree in the field of training 710400 "Software Engineering" must be able to solve the following tasks:
1) In project activities:
• development of a design strategy, definition of design objectives, performance criteria, limitations of applicability;
• conceptual design of information systems and technologies; design of information systems components and technologies based on the methodology of system engineering; selection and implementation of computer-aided design tools; unification and typification of design solutions;
2) In production and technological activities:
• organization and management of information processes;
• organization and management of enterprise informatization projects; organization of information systems in the applied field;
• management of information systems and services;
• management of IP personnel; decision-making on the organization of IP implementation at enterprises; organization and conduct of professional consultations in the field of informatization of enterprises and organizations; organization and negotiations with representatives of the customer; organization of work on maintenance and operation of applied IP;
3) In organizational and managerial activities:
• organization of interaction between the teams of the developer and the customer, making management decisions in the context of different opinions;
• finding a compromise between different requirements (cost, quality, deadlines) in both long-term and short-term planning, finding optimal solutions;
4) In analytical activities:
• analysis of information, information and applied processes;
• selection of methodology for carrying out design work on informatization and management of these projects; analysis and selection of architectures of software and hardware complexes, methods of data representation and knowledge;
• analysis of modern ICT and justification of their application for IP in applied fields; analysis and justification of the architecture of information systems of enterprises; marketing analysis of the ICT and computing equipment market, for the creation and operation of IP, as well as for the promotion of ready-made design solutions to the market; analysis of information process protection tools;
• analysis of the results of expert testing of the IP and its components;5) in research activities:
• collection, analysis of scientific and technical information, domestic and foreign experience on the subject of research;
• development and research of theoretical and experimental models of objects of professional activity; development and research of methods of analysis, synthesis, optimization and forecasting of the quality of the processes of functioning of these objects;
• modeling of processes and objects based on standard computer-aided design and research packages; setting up and conducting experiments according to a given methodology and analyzing the results;
• analysis of the results of experiments, preparation and compilation of reviews, reports and scientific publications; forecasting the development of information systems and technologies;
6) In pedagogical activities:
• training and certification of users of software systems;
• development of training methods for technical personnel and manuals on the use of software systems.
The duration of Masters degree program: full–time is 2 years, and part-time is 2 years 6 months.
