The LLCER Master's degree in "Vietnamese Studies", supervised by both teacher-researchers from the University of Paris Diderot and the Institute of Oriental Languages ​​and Civilizations (INALCO), is unique in France.


It offers solid training through research in the field of Vietnamese studies, combining language teaching, methodological teaching and a wide range of specialty seminars (linguistics, literature, history, geography and social sciences).


Its vocation is to train high-level specialists: researchers, experts, players in professional life, with an excellent knowledge of the Vietnamese language and civilization.
The student will be able to benefit from long-term stays in a Vietnamese partner university, in a wide variety of human and social sciences departments, allowing him to acquire solid experience in the field.


This training is aimed at students who already have a good knowledge of the language.


The two-year training allows you to demonstrate high-level language skills (both written and spoken); solid knowledge and working methods in the disciplinary field chosen by the student (Literature and Arts, History and Social Sciences, Linguistics and Didactics).


Depending on his personal project, he may move in the second year towards a "research" sector or a "professionalizing" sector.


This academic program is part of the Graduate School East Asian Studies of Université Paris Cité, combining master's and doctoral courses with cutting-edge research laboratories. The Graduate School's goal is to provide students with dual expertise by helping them achieve an excellent level in oriental languages ​​and in the humanities and social sciences.
