The Molecular and Cellular Biology master's degree is a high-level theoretical and practical training in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology offering an integrated view of the molecular, cellular and functional properties of biological systems necessary for understanding physiological and pathological processes.

Training by and in research and progressive from Master 1, the Molecular and Cellular Biology master allows orientation towards 9 Master 2 courses (Hematopoiesis, molecular biology and pathology, cell development, inflammation, immunology, microbiology, virology and biotherapies).

The Microbiology course of the Master BMC is a training of excellence through research. Priority is given to integrated approaches, aiming to understand the  physiology  of microorganisms ranging from fundamental molecular aspects to global and evolutionary biology and to study their functioning in their natural environment and their impact on  ecosystems. This course provides training in the conduct of an experimental research project and the critical analysis of data. These skills are exercised in a professional environment during the 6-month internship in a research laboratory. The selected host laboratories are structures recognized for their scientific production and their capacity for supervision and training.

This program is part of the Graduate School Antimicrobial Resistance of Université Paris Cité, linking master and doctoral courses with advanced research laboratories. This Graduate School offers quality multidisciplinary training in the field of antimicrobial resistance.
