About the nature of the B.Pharm. in Pharmacy program:
The College of Pharmacy provides high-quality pharmaceutical education through the programs it offers. These programs are of international standards. Students are taught the theory and practice of pharmacy. Theory and practice are integrated through classroom teaching, pharmacy skills laboratory sessions and clinical situations in hospitals.
Objectives of the School of Pharmacy 1 - To promote professional development by enhancing the individual's ability to benefit from advances in technology, critical thinking and be a lifelong learner. 1. Develop competencies for the practice of pharmacy through knowledge of the development of drugs from natural and synthetic methods, their formulations and their interactions with biological systems. 2. Develop an understanding of the principle of quality assurance of pure pharmaceutical preparations and their formulations. 3. To impart skills and attitudes that will facilitate pharmacist interaction in the health care team and as an independent practitioner. 4. Strengthen the profession of pharmacy through basic and applied scientific research activities. 5. Benefit from college practitioners and pharmacists in the profession to achieve these goals.

Tuition fees for science subjects are OMR 107 per Credit Hour ($280 per credit/hr and for art subjects are OMR 85 per Credit Hour ($220 per credit/hr). A minimum score of 65% in secondary level certification is required for undergraduate courses.
