UNB was the first university to introduce engineering in Canada. Faculty researchers at the ECE Department  are leading national and international research in: Renewable energy (wind and solar); Biomedical engineering; Fibre optics; Communications; and Hands-on learning. Students may also participate in UNB’s Co-op Program, which offers attractive salaries, allowing most of the Co-op students to graduate with very low debt or even debt-free. There are also opportunities to participate in Engineering Co-op and Exchange Program.

  • *Mathematique 30411B is acceptable for admission. However UNB strongly recommends Mathematique 30331C as the preferred pre-requisite to Mathematique 30411C.
