This is a study program at the bachelor's level in journalism. Practically, this study program constitutes a reorganization of the existing program, which was the first to be structured according to the principles of the Bologna Charter and has been used for about 15 years. After this period, an experience is added that allows presenting a more advanced study program from a qualitative point of view. On the one hand, this new proposal relies, of course, on the best achievements, verified by time, of the existing study program, on the other hand, it presents essential innovations in several directions, which we will mention below. The proposed new program is presented and will be applied by the department of journalism and communication, at the Faculty of History and Philology, at the University of Tirana. As it is also understood from the title of the study program, it has as its main pedagogical goal the formation of students who graduate in journalism, while in terms of scientific research, it aims to undertake scientific research in the field of journalism, mass information, and social sciences. communication and information, in general. Currently, and as predicted for the following years, this university study program is offered to 100 first-year students, who graduate within a legal term of three years. From here, they and those coming from other branches can also continue in master's level study programs, at this same department. The first is a professional master's degree in investigative journalism, and the second a master's degree in journalism and mass communication sciences. The study program that is proposed is conceived with a basic direction of formation and accompanied by four profiles. The profiles are: - Media literacy, - Marketing journalism, - Online and freelance journalism, - Mass information management
