First-year courses are offered at the Universities of Ljubljana and Salzburg, and
provide a theory and methodology-based high level teaching competences.
The courses of the second year at the Western Balkan partner universities enable
students to become specialized in issues related to the modernisation and
integration of EU neighbouring countries. The joint degree is awarded by all
universities attended by a student during the two-year study program (min 2
but max 4). All teaching and the MA thesis are conducted in English.
Student centred learning: PoSIG is highly student centred with a consistent focus on learning outcomes and competences.
 Students have to decide about:
• their individual study tracks in two modules of specialisation out of five;
• the universities offering these subjects during the two years of study;
• their MA thesis topic and academic interest;
• their compulsory one-month internship.

"1. Every academic year, the Department announces the admission criteria for the study program. 1.1. Foreign language Level B1, certified with tests recognized by MASR 1.2. To have completed the university studies of the first Cycle in the fields of study in Psychology at home and abroad. 2. Candidates who have achieved high results in university studies in the fields of study in Psychology domestically and abroad are preferred. 3. The admission of candidates is done by competition where the average grade from bachelor studies is important and the ranking is made from students with the highest average grade to those with the lowest average grade. 4. If any candidate withdraws from the application before the start of the course, his place is taken by the candidate ranked after him in the list of winners. 5. The final list is announced one week before the start of the course. 6. The candidate who does not win once can compete again in the following year."
