- solve the problems of mathematical modelling of processes and phenomena in conditions of uncertainty and incomplete information regarding the functioning of the system of objects;

- build, research and apply mathematical models based on data and knowledge, create and operate software.

Theoretical content of the subject area: Mathematical methods used in science, engineering, business and industry, as well as algorithms and software tools for their implementation.

- applied mathematical methods and algorithms;

- methods of solving engineering, scientific, socio-economic problems using specialized software tools;

- information technologies for conducting computer modelling and computing experiments, intellectual data analysis.
