2.                   As a part of this program, the students focus on the very practical nature of Legal Studies in Pakistan along with a comparative analysis of different legal systems. Students are equipped with professional skills of the modern era. The curriculum also help students to study new courses and trends in the field of law, so that they have a head start when they graduate from the five-year programme.

3.                   In addition to practical learning, the curriculum also focuses on the improving communication and writing skills (including legal writing), history, quantitative reasoning and other fields of social science. This helps give students a solid foundation, upon which they can build their research and future projects.

4.                   As per the demands of the 21st century, a greater emphasis of the curriculum is on legal ethics and different other opportunities available to a law graduate. The students are encouraged to participate in law moot competitions and hold an internal law moot competition annually as part of the course of moot courts. This ensures that our graduates hold the highest regards for ethics and rules in their practical life, along-with having motivation for innovation and self-sustenance in the field that they opt to pursue. Furthermore, the elective subjects in the final year of studies will be offered in different specialized streams so that the students graduate with a specialization in a particular area of a law. This is not offered anywhere in Pakistan and NUST will take the lead to offer such specialization at undergraduate level.
