Ph.D. Economics program was launched with a combination of coursework and research. Under the Ph.D. program, students with MS/M.Phil degrees are required to complete 18 credit hours of courses and 30 credit hours of Ph.D. dissertation. The dissertation is evaluated by experts from both within and outside Pakistan. Currently, there are 20 students enrolled in the Ph.D. program. Internationalization is an integral component of the Ph.D. program under which, the doctoral candidates are sent to the leading international universities to collaborate with the experts in their fields of research

FAQs

MS/MPhil/Equivalent in Economics. 18 years of education in a related discipline as given below with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0 (in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in M.Phil/MS/Equivalent with research work. The candidate should have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework OR 24 credit hours of coursework and 06 credit hours of thesis/research work. The percentage will be valid only if the CGPA is not mentioned in the degree/transcript
