biotechnology. Our department is playing an integral role in educating students

have a diverse composition of research groups having various national and
international collaborations. These groups provide students opportunities to
not only conduct research but to get an international exposure while working on
a collaborated project. The department is also actively engaged in the
collection, identification and characterization of pathogens (fungal,
bacterial, and viral) of orchids from different orchards of Pakistan.

• Sixteen
years of schooling or 4 years (minimum130 credit hours) education after
FA/FSc/A Level in relevant discipline.
• Minimum
CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 (3 out of 5) or 60 % marks in terminal degree.
• No
3rd Division / Grade D and only One 2nd Division / Grade C is allowed in
academic career.
• GAT (General) conducted by NTS with
atleast 50 raw score or GRE (General) conducted by ETS, USA
