The program offers a specialization in Human Resource and Management (Department of HRM), Finance (Department of Finance & Investment), Marketing (Department of International Business and Marketing), and Supply Chain (Department of Operations & Supply Chain). The program has a to t al of 48 cr e di t h o ur r e q u i r e m e n ts f or the a w ard o f d e gree with 18 credit hour course work followed by a 30-credit hour research thesis.  The PhD program was launched at NBS in 2001. The main aim of the program is to prepare individuals to conduct research and contribute to the body of knowledge in academia and industry while adhering to ethics in research. After qualify this program, Students will be able to synthesize knowledge, Students will create knowledge, and Students will value ethics in research.

• Fall and Spring are regular semesters. Summer is not a regular semester rather, it is a make-up semester. A student can repeat a course to improve CGPA or s/he can clear her / his ‘F’ grade(s) during summer semester. A student can take regular course(s) of the ensuing semester during summer session on payment of fee (credit hours based). A student can also take additional / optional course(s) on payment of prescribed fee (credit hours based).
• PhD students will be charged full tuition fee for 3 academic years (6 regular semesters). Thereafter, s/he will not be required to pay tuition fee till completion of degree requirements. However, fee during Summer Semester will be credit hours based
• Yes, every student has to pay full tuition fee for 06 regular semesters. However, summer semester fee will be credit hours based in addition to this.
