Health education work with people in schools and community settings. They promote positive health behaviors by giving presentations, planning and implementing programs, preparing instructional materials, assessing individual health needs, teaching and training, coordinating community/school efforts, and acting as a resource person. Every Health Education major completes a core of 21 hours and either a sequence in school health education or community health education.
